Hey all.

Newbie here.
I upgraded from Zorin 16 to 17 a while ago.
There was no need to download an iso file.

Now that I want to install 17 on another computer, can I grab the necessary files off of my current 17 computer?
Otherwise, it seems as though I am being asked to pay again for a download.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Zorin only charge for Zorin Pro, if you only want core or education editions they are free.
or you can clone your whole existing installation using clonezilla [or similar]

I've read you can do that but how does it work if the other machine needs different drivers due to different hardware?
A system update after cloning perhaps?

The drivers are in the kernel, but check out the link @bwingbob shared. That should allow you to request a new download link since you already paid.
You might try this. It seems they anticipated your problem.
Also you can still use Zorin Core, don't know if you need specific things from Pro.

Thanks for that.

I had a look at Zorin upgrades and it's pay per version for Pro.
So the OP could either clone or use his Zorin 17 code for a clean install.
Think I would do a clean install.
