XOrg Eats the CPU when Plugging in USB Device

When I plug in or remove a USB device Xorg uses 100% of the CPU causing the system to become unusable.
My Distro is KDE Neon (so Plasma 5). I have this issue on my laptop and my desktop.
Both systems are up-to-date.

I'm not sure what to do to debug this, does anyone have any ideas?

Does this happen with all USB devices? When it next happens you could check the logs. Perhaps the xorg-session log, for sddm that would be $HOME/.local/share/sddm/xorg-session.log. Certainly the journalctl --boot command for the system logs for the current boot. Maybe the dmesg command, the output of which should be in the journal, but it couldn't hurt to try it. Depending on permissions, you may not see all of the journal unless you're root (sudo journalctl --boot).

Super Noob here...Fedora WORKSTATION 35 ...Xorg-x11 dvr nouveau caused system failure for me earlier today. Gave me a laundry list of issues then crashed before I could save the info. GW tainted kernel, a pid on of my CPU’s. attempted clean reinstall to end up with same result.
