I came across the DroidCam app that allows me to use my old LG G3 cell phone as a webcam for Zoom. It requires the DroidCam app on the phone, the DroidCam client on my Windows machine, and the phone and computer on the same wireless network. It works great. I was wondering if there was anything similar for Linux/Raspberry Pi?

Cell phones don't have the best lenses, but there probably is some app somewhere that will work with a cell as a webcam. In reality, it is possible to find a Logitech C270, or 3rd party "clone", for not too much money and it will work very well on Linux.

I have one sitting next to my PC monitor, that lives on top of one of my speakers. A lot easier to manage than a cell phone form factor, too.
