Search your distro's Software Manager or Package Manager to install their supported version. If you want the latest Wine version, get it direct from WineHQ. You'll have to pick the right one for your distro and follow their instructions carefully through several steps in a terminal. If your distro doesn't match what they offer, then probably best to use the one in your distro's repositories instead.

Wine works to run some Windows software, but not all. So you may be lucky, or you may be disappointed. Good luck!

One thing related to wine my TomTom sat nav stopped working ;able to get anywhere near a Windows machine installed wine-2.0.1-i586-1_slonly nd i did managed to update Tomtom software- so it is possible to do this on Linux running InstallMyDriveConnect.exe with wine. Which distro are you running ?
