how do i download wine on linux>>>
Search your distro's Software Manager or Package Manager to install their supported version. If you want the latest Wine version, get it direct from WineHQ. You'll have to pick the right one for your distro and follow their instructions carefully through several steps in a terminal. If your distro doesn't match what they offer, then probably best to use the one in your distro's repositories instead.

Wine works to run some Windows software, but not all. So you may be lucky, or you may be disappointed. Good luck!

Cheers

Here's a copy/paste from WineHQ itself:
Ubuntu - WineHQ binary packages for Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, 18.10, and 19.04

Debian - WineHQ binary packages for Debian Jessie, Stretch, and Buster
Fedora - WineHQ binary packages for Fedora 29 and 30
