I am no computer specialist myself on linux, but I was wondering because my older CMstorm devastator keyboard did not normally work when I pressed scroll lock just like on windows on my older linux mint computer. Will the LED Kumara K552 work with it's red LED back light on linux or do I have to do something special in the terminal, like "xset led 3"?

I haven't found a keyboard yet that wouldn't work on Linux.
My keyboards have always been the standard oem wired keyboards.

A keyboard is pretty much a keyboard and if it's wired ps2 or usb I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

The one way to know for certain is to try it and see.

If it's wireless I have know clue.

You may be able to find some site on the internet that will say that it's supported or not, but the easiest way to find out is to plug it in and see. FYI, their website doesn't mention Linux but says "Limited Mac OS keyboard support". So I'm sure you'll get all the keys to work, but that might be the extent of it.

Not sure if you have your answer yet, but I have two different Redragon Keyboard and they are both backlit, one is red only and the other is RGB. Both work fine on linux. Tested on Mint, Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora.

Sorry to bring it back, but maybe I can help others too.
I have a Redragon Kala RGB.
I've already set my profile on it using Windows, and now I'm using it in a machine running Ubuntu.
The profile and Macros that I've already set, still working fine, but I have no driver/software on Ubuntu to change it, so, if I need it, I'll need to plug at my Windows machine (or running in a VM maybe?).
Macros contains a peculiar behavior, it freezes the machine for few seconds before to "type" the predefined text (only when I have "text"/"sequence" into the macro button), the button I've set to use as a different one (single function replacement), works fine as expected.
All other stuffs works normally like a normal keyboard.

I swear it can help you.
