I need to adjust the screen size on the display (TV), not resolution. There couple of OSes like Libreelec, Kodi, and windows with Nvidia adjustment.

These have GUI to adjust the corner to of screen to make sure it fits the entire display, TV. I have already tried some CMD line solution but they don't work well and the TV doesn't have any adjustment either for overscan/underscan.

So, there got to be linux distro which has this feature build it, right?

I believe what you ask has more to do with the nVidia driver installed and its accompanying utility (cant remember what its called) than the distro.
What distro are you using?
Which Graphics card is in use?
Hardware info and distro in use is always essential for accurate response, OP.

nVidia X server settings. Or just the "System: Preferences: Hardware: Displays" in most GUI's.

Yeh -- that's what I was thinking of, dos2unix! Thanks for the clarification.

I would use "System: Preferences" cause it's way simpler.
