What Linux distro should I install ?

So I've been wanting to do just what you're thinking for YEARS! I finally bit the bullet 2 months ago. I bought a system 76 laptop with Ubuntu 22.04 installed. It was a little rocky at first. My main concern was web and email for medical reasons. I'd been using Firefox and Thunderbird for years under Windows and to find out that Firefox is default and Thunderbird loves to roost in a Linux platform helped push me over the edge. Installation of software isn't as free flowing but I like the new challenge of Snap and using terminal. I messed with Unix years ago so it's kinda like remembering where the jumpers went on your 486 mobo.(Jumpers??)
Toughest obstacle was the wireless printer. It finally woke up two weeks ago. Why? Couldn't tell you.
I've read, Ubuntu is easy to install as dual boot. I'm now too old to risk playing that way so, as previously stated I bought the whole shebang. Supports been good.
I can only recommend Ubuntu because of generally positive reviews and ignorance of other platforms. Bottom line, I don't miss anything of Windows.
