Now that would depend on which machine I am using, which distribution I am using on which drive is installed,
so anything from 4.13 [on my 32 bit boxes] up to 5.15 on this box

Forgive me,
but I will teasingly call vacillators here somewhat paranoid and/or distrustful. Just post your favorite if you wish.

The purpose? Curiosity and to lay a baseline or two in my head, but mostly educational.

@dos2unix -- have never seen that kernel before! Custom of some sort?

Latest default kernel for my distro. 5.10.something.

Is this just a "fun" post, likened to "show me your desktops"? Or are you actually trying to use this data for something?

I am now using 5.4...

I think I was using 5.15 earlier.

As I said, it varies. I also don't always use Lubuntu on bare metal, just on most desktop computers.

I think it depends on the Distro you're running...not something I worry about as I install the latest kernel offered by the Update Manager in Linux Mint which is...4.15.

Linux 4.18.0-348.23.1.el8_5.x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

It's an ANSSI-BP028 hardened RHEL box. Managing one of these is not for the faint at heart :)
