What is artificial intelligence?

He is a pain to watch but he is a good source of info for what is going on with normal people (not Linux users, smartphone owners). He say now they will have an AI companion in their pockets WTF

Collecting every bit of information around the world has a problem, along with useful to them information, they collect also a lot of crap. AI will help them pinpoint what's interesting in all that mess, for example the passwords of the encrypted files in your hard drive along with the files... Now that's interesting. And guess what... You will pay extra for it because it's the latest model!
Pre-enceyption data capturing has existed for decades, but the problem was that volume of data was hard to process... But as our dude points out, AI solves this issue.

Don't worry, I'll be in an off-grid home in the most rural parrt of nowhere with a storage of current gen tech. Probably start a herb garden (legal in SA).

And bringing things back on topic, as I often say, AI is making humans dumber, wiping our backsides better and better while our bum-wiping needs grow less complex the dumber we get -- someone plot that on a graph, please. Net result: less than 10 years from now we won't be able to function without AI...

AI will do everything for you. It will write your books, draw your art, create films and games. It will even help you choose a profession and colour-coordinate for the interview.

And now I quote:
I say your civilisation, because when we started thinking for you, it really became our civilisation.

'nuf sed...

I think we are all over thinking it a bit much, we have already survived several technological human advances and problems where they said the world would end.
1. Nuclear Armaggedon, aka the Cold War.
2. Y2K Problem.
3. Back in the earl days of it, people thought electricity would end the world.
So I think we can overcome this as well, only two thing out of our control is if we get a situation which killed of the dinosuars and maybe global warming if we don't take it seriously but even that I think we can overcome even many people are already saying it's too late. Only time will tell.

We even survived the black plague and corona.

These great iAI-promoting geniuses do not understand that it is a double-edged sword, which can be used against themselves.

Anything you can survive, but at the same time the dead cannot speak :)

if you trust it or not is up to you, it's coming anyway, So ....

I really like the video you posted, it is the natural cycle of life, but in our era man is interfering in a very negative way with nature. Have you ever seen an animal destroy its habitat? Man is doing this mainly through the use of technology, which I call false progress.
Then we should have done nothing about corona and just have let the natural cycle of life go it's way? Are you willing to to give up technology and go back to the way of love of the middle ages or before? So giving up cars, planes, computers, internet, electricity, modern medicine, etc.?

I definitely do.

I used to watch his channel(Rob Braxman). What I found is most of the time he says something but doesn't actually provide the technical evidence for it. And he tries to sell his viewers privacy products, so does he really care about your privacy or does he just want to make money off of his viewers?

He has an American show style in his presentation, He creates tension and push the revelations towards the end of the video so he obligates you to watch till the end, or so he thinks. That's why I don't like his videos. I watched him sparsely in the past, he obviously doing business, with some useful info here and there. I don't blame him for trying to make a living out of privacy concerns, just not my favorite show
