A bit off topic but have I shared this URL with you before?

Basically, these folks archived as much Flash stuff as they could, mostly games. As Flash was going the way of the dodo, they wanted to preserve it. You'll need Windows or Wine but you mentioned that you already have Windows. I just linked to the Linux support because that's the link I had in my bookmarks. (It's not for me, it's to share with people who miss Flash games.)
Yeah, and if I failed to say so before, thanks.

On the one hand, I habitually play one game when a new layout comes out every night at midnight (strangely enough, that's midnight in my time zone, but whatever) and that gives me an excuse to not retire the Win7 box - it's been with me for 15 years now.

On the other hand, if that box dies or the game goes offline, that'd be a great time to kick that particular time wasting habit.

In the mean time, I just spent a few minutes with flashpoint and, so far, haven't got it to work yet - but maybe that's for the best. ;)

(18 minutes later...) In one of those great coincidences, the site hosting that game appears to be offline -now-.

With the exception of Waterfox - never tried it! - ALL of 'em. (I believe Waterfox is a Debian 'special', isn't it......or am I thinking of IceWeasel? Never sure about those two...)

We've developed an entire range of 'portable' apps for Puppy over the last few years - mostly my doing, actually, after one of our devs got me started. Got the "bit between my teeth" and just never looked back, TBH; it's a format that suits Puppy amazingly well.

Of course, this includes a sizeable range of 'portable' browsers.....and all along the same lines as the Wndoze PortableApps, from here:-

You can run 'em from a flash drive, if ya want. You can run 'em from anywhere, truth be told, 'cos they're totally self-contained.....and you can add/remove Menu entries to run them from wherever they're located, at the click of a script.

(This is why I have most of 'em on the system at any given moment, 'cos I'm constantly testing-out beta- and nightly-channel builds to see what's coming down the line...)

I keep as many functional as I do for one simple reason.....because they're the 'glue' that hold our on-line communities together. No browsers, no communities. Stat.

Mike. ;)

Mike. ;)

It's IceWeasel. Waterfox works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.

I dimly recall an announcement that they changed IceWeasel to IceCat. I want to say that it was in the GNU newsletter some time ago, but don't quote me on that.

I do intermittent website work and will use as many as possible while working on things as I have been burned by not at least checking the top three before calling it a day. Since I tend to use ubuntu more often than not I am a heavy user of firefox.
