Using a RTL8812BU adapter in Monitor Mode, can use the airodump-ng equivalent but this is really bothering me. Interface name is correct and the drivers are the newest I could find using the Kali Forum Thread when I needed drivers.

Any ideas? I've heard of this error but I am unaware of a fix. Thanks!

What happens if you run a pcap command on its own? Will pcap work at all? Or do you get error messages from it?

I have absolutely no idea how to do that. I’m pretty new to Kali. How would I do that?

If you are talking about airodump writing .cap files, those work fine. Otherwise, what command can I run to check for what you said?

I have the same issue. I would like to know a solution for this problem

I got a solution now. Open Terminal and:

  1. apt-get purge --auto-remove reaver
  2. apt-get update
  3. apt-get install sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev libpcap0.8-dev

go to this link https://github.com/t6x/reaver-wps-fork-t6x
and follow this step

Setup
Download
git clone https://github.com/t6x/reaver-wps-fork-t6x
or
wget https://github.com/t6x/reaver-wps-fork-t6x/archive/master.zip && unzip master.zip
Locate the shell
cd reaver-wps-fork-t6x*
cd src
Compile
./configure
make
Install
sudo make install

Now wash works!

I tried this. Fails each time. The error i get is when i try to locate the shell. Tell me that theres to many files to search for cd reaver
