vsftpd

Hello All,

Could somebody help me Please. I have an issue with Running and Configuring vsftpd on Linux Mint Server, I am using FileZilla on my Client.
I would be more than grateful for some assistance please.

You're going to need to be more specific than that. (We lent our Magic 8 Ball to another site.)

What sort of trouble are you having?

What steps have you taken?

What's working?

What's not working?

Have you tried one of the many tutorials?

Do you mean you're using Mint as a server, or has Mint recently released a server edition and nobody told me?

How are you,

I have installed vsftpd on my Server, I am using Operating System Linux Mint 21.1, my problem is I can not start vsftpd, when I try to start the service from command prompt I get failed, it should say running,

Checked ports to see if they are listening
Allowed ports access through the firewall
Attempted to configure the vsftpd.conf file, I initially did not make a back up copy so can not revert
Tried to un-install vsftpd and re-install it
Enabled vsftpd service

I have not created any users yet

Everything works apart from the service will not start
