raspbians not a bad option because its optmized for the pi, i find it runs very smooth on raspbian
Manjaro works fine too. I'll move back to raspbian when they release an official 64bit version. But 4GB is completely enough, I don't know why I wasted money for an 8GB one. Even after opening multiple tabs on chromium, running commands of terminal, it still uses 1.5gigs. I wish I had bought a pi400

you could try diet pi thats a lighter Os
