In my office we use internal mail service for communicating internally. We use squirrel mail wrapper to connect the mail server and to send emails to the users in the LAN.So i wanted to know how to use the same authentication for creating other web applications for authentications of users.

    Thanks in Advance

Just use POP3 protocol to check a login/password received via a web interface in your web application.
