in windows i should uninstall the driver and install it again
but i dont know what to do in linux
i use bodhi linux
if you know how to solve the battery problem or how to uninstall the battery driver please help
thanks a lot

well i don't use bodhi linux nor any other that is a child derivative of Debian. I can give you some pointers

bodhi is based on Debian and so you should have access to synaptic package manager or via the command line. Let me give you some concepts of how you might solve the problem . probably you have a smart phone; you know when you want to do something like record phone calls you browse the Amazon and google play for apps, read up on them and try.

I tend to use that approach too. So if i'm looking for a video editor i type "video" in search at https://slackbuilds.org/ and see what comes up( because i use slackware)

So you can try a similar approach .

First you can go here and read : https://www.bodhilinux.com/w/adding-software/

you can try search eg from command line :
apt search ptbatterysystemtray

apt search battery

aprt from battery how is everything else working bodhi ?

Bodhi Linux has a very fine forum, with some really knowledgeable people, including the primary developers. Give them a try.

Sometimes there are quirks due to hardware ; what i was suggesting was to try and find an alternative package /wiget that would show battery.

if you try:
apt-cache pkgnames battery
//it might show pkg

also is it enabled: https://www.bodhilinux.com/w/gadgets-modules-and-shelves/
