I would like to alter the Yaru GTK theme code to make the window title bars have rectangular window borders, instead of the default round-rect shape. Additionally I would like to change the window icons to be squares instead of circles (I assume that can be done editing the icons with gimp, inkscape, etc) so please tell me where the yaru icon directory location is. Thank you. 1. How do I make title bar have squared edges instead of rounded edges? 2. Where are the Yaru icon files/folders located?

@x-labrador-x welcome to linux.org.

I note you have the exact same question open at Ask Ubuntu , https://askubuntu.com/questions/153...ault-ubuntu-title-bar-icons-and-border-radius

You may not realise it but that is extremely bad manners and also makes no sense.

Neither their helpers nor ours are equipped with crystal balls, and we/they cannot be expected to know if conflicting advice is being given, nor whether alternative options have been explored.

That being said, I would suggest you stick with the Ubuntu site for now, as they are better equipped perhaps to answer.

Good luck

Hey Wizardfromoz, thanks for the reply. I was in a rush yesterday and posted this thread as fast as possible with minimal effort, which was not a wise decision. I understand that posting it twice on two forums was in poor taste, so I apologize. I usually put more thought and effort into posting threads on developer forums, and the questions I ask are much more articulate than this. Thanks again for letting me know.
