Ubuntu -> Mint (problem switching) SOLVED

Hello. I am currently on ubuntu and want to change to Linux Mint. The problem i currently have is that i cant get mint on my usb to boot.
Im not sure if this is the right place to ask but id love to get any help i can get.
I have tried using BalenaEtcher with no success.

not sure if this is of any help but this is what i get when i try to boot into the usb with mint on it.

from memory Ubuntu has its own usb image writer [only works on ubuntu based distributions] you might try that, another possible fixe would be to update your bios,
I assume you are still using Ubuntu, please run in a terminal inxi -Fnxz [inxispace-Fnx] and post back the report

I did manage to get Mint onto my system however its still a big issue similar to before.
You see. When i try to install Mint in the desktop it installs as normal but wont boot when i have to reboot my system. I get the same error as before. Even though im on Mint atm i did the command and i got the following text.

I did look for a few fixes but they didnt do anything.
One i tested was changing things in grub.

Terminal:
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
And changed
(GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash") to
(GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset")

It is now reset to the original
(GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash")
after my installation once more failed.

some NVMe's cause problems try

1. Boot into the BIOS Setup on your machine.
2. Find the System Configuration in the BIOS Setup.
3. Find SATA Operation and select AHCI.
4. Restart the computer

have you kept the previous distribution??? if so try
sudo update-grub

all can think of at the moment

Also about the grub thing.
sudo update-grub

I tried all of the above and i hve still the same error as before. Not sure what to do at this point.

The start sound still play in the background but the error is on top of everything.

one last thought for the night... is this your install usb ...if so remove it and re-boot

I retried a few times and its working now! Not sure what i did differently but its working so thank you tons!
