I've had a death in the family. Well, someone close enough to be family. So, that'd be why I'm pretty absent. Most everything will be finished by Monday.

Today's article (a fine distraction) uses dmidecode (something you've likely seen before) to count your RAM slots - and give you some information about your installed RAM.

Thanks. It'll be a bit hectic for a few days, and then things will return to a normalcy of sorts.

I'll still be able to get an article out every couple of days, but I'll have to use some from the previous/defunct site.

That's a price you pay for getting older. The older you get, the more death you experience. I don't think you get used to it, so much as you just get better at dealing with it.

There's another one coming right behind this one. A very dear friend is losing his battle with cancer. I'll be surprised if he sees 2022.
