The article is about opening FeatherPad at a specific line. You can also open it at a specific column if you want. Then, I show you how to detach the opened FeatherPad from the terminal you used to open it, freeing up that terminal and meaning FeatherPad won't close if you close the terminal.

I used to use leafpad, but I recently found one I like as well called pluma. I like it better because it's got a few more options than leafpad and it has a shorter name.

Oh, I've used Pluma before, or installed it. I'm always installing a new text editor, new terminal, and new browser. I don't recall much more - but I know I have installed it.
