It'll work for Debian and other derivatives, but I am a Lubuntu user so it's written specifically for Ubuntu.


Feedback is awesome. It makes the articles better.
 


In Arch no need for using the AUR because it's in the default repositories.

Going by my notes, it's in the Ubuntu repositories - but always multiple versions behind. The PPA has newer versions.

I should probably have double checked that prior to even writing the article, now that I think about it. That may have changed since I wrote the notes. My notes span like an entire decade.

I bought one of those stylus and pad things (I forget the brand) with the goal of learning how to digitally paint.

The learning curve was greater/longer than I felt like dealing with, so I never got good at it. It was moved into a 'someday' category, where someday I'll get to it.
