I am using Linux Loki os on a dell laptop. I am a new Linux user. I installed Thunderbird for email. I do not get notified when I receive emails. The notification bell in the right top corner does not work. Can anyone tell me how to fix the issue? Thanks.....johnny306

I just discovered something interesting I wanted to pass on to others. If I have Thunderbird email program OPEN all notifications when I receive email work properly Same thing using Evolution email. Maybe I was trying to do something impossible! You must have your email programs open and then when you get new email the notifications work as they should. Thanks.....Johnny306
