Hello I'm kind of new to Linux, but have a pretty good I understanding. I have a Thinkpad T450 and it had two batteries, like most of them do, and I want them to drain simultaneously rather than one then the next. Is there a way to make this happen? All help is appreciated.

I don't know, but it seems that would require some physical re-wiring and most of all, changes to the power control module

GThe answer from @jglen490 sounds pretty c;lose to the mark to me !

Why........would you want to do that ?

After some thought I guess it doesn't make sense. The batteries would have to be the same capacity too. I'm really just trying to figure a good way to keep the external battery from going to an unsafe level. Never had to work with two batteries as this is my first Thinkpad.
