Teclado Desconfigurado

Hola, he instalado Linux ubuntu, pero tengo el problema de que el teclado lo tengo desconfigurado. no es la primera vez, ya me ha pasado dos o más veces este problema.
alguien sabe a que se debe este problema. Ayuda
