Why is there no dedicated section for Tails on the linux.org site?
I'm using Tails for several years, I think it is an outstanding operating system.

If the site was to have sections for every distribution, the index page would be huge, there are many more popular builds than Tails not on the list,

Slackware, Fedora and OpenSUSE should be removed also, these subforums are very rarely used here.

edit:
and redhat too.

Morning Brian [well it is here]

questions on tails should go in the Debian and derivatives as it's based on Debian stable

I agree, I had not considered how many Linux distributions there are currently, and are so many. So excuse my bizarre question!

I think in some respects you are right, I think it would be used more if more people knew about it. It's a incredible little OS!
I'd personally like to see more development and more potential use cases.
I have a project going to install everything that TAILS uses on live persistent version of Ubuntu server, and I intend to remaster it when I'm finished tweaking everything.
Something seems cool about setting up hosting by plugging in a flash drive on any computer you have access to, and setting up a onion domain for free on the fly. Front end and backend all in one on a flash drive. That's the plan anyway.
