Right now I have Linux Mint 20 installed on a SSD in my machine. What im wanting to know is, if I take out the Mint SSD and install a blank HDD and install Windows 10, will I be able to swap back the Mint SSD when im done updating Bios/Drivers? o_O

Almost certainly, yes. If there's any problem, it'll be with GRUB. As it's just one drive at a time, that should absolutely not be a problem.

So, absolutely. If there is a GRUB error, it's trivial to fix. And, well, I'm really confident that it'll work just fine. I've done so multiple times, across multiple systems, even moving the drive into completely different hardware.

I have a thinkpad T430 that I use both a linux os drive, and a win 10 drive in. I keep the drive bay cover off, and swap out the linux drive when I need to. ( which is not very often ). I also have a hp z230 with a linux drive and a win 10 drive installed. grub on linux drive lets me boot to win 10 drive when I need to.
The only heartburn I experienced was different times being displayed between the 2 drive os's. Fixed that by telling linux to use local time instead of utc for the system clock
