Streaming games from Windows to Linux over LAN

Hey there.

I'd like to know if anyone tried and succeeded in streaming heavy Windows games to Linux properly... Something in the lines of BF4, Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist etc.

What I am not using for client:
-Limelight (doesn't support my video cards).
-Steam (won't stream many games).
-Windows (oh please).

What I have tried:
-TigerVNC: slow, even for usual remote access.
-TurboVNC: same.
-VirtualGL client (+turbovnc/tigervnc on the windows side): I spent last night setting it up, fruitlessly.

Guidance on virtualgl is very welcome in case you actually know how to make it work for this particular purpose. Otherwise, I have the documentation, thanks.

Better ideas?

It would be wonderful to stream games in maximum graphics settings from my high-end desktop to my linux laptop, so that I could comfortably play them in bed.

This lazy soul begs for help.

Thanks beforehand, kind forum pals.

P.S.: not interested in running wine or anything related, ultra is how I roll. Streaming-only topic.
