ssh server reverse connection

Discussion in 'Command Line' started by Michael Bourquin, Jan 28, 2012.

  1. Is it possible for another linux computer to connect to a remote host(my computer) and then once that connection is established for the remote host to establish a remote connection to the client?

If I'm understanding this correctly, you're asking if you can have machine B connect to machine A (your computer), and then B creates a new connection to C, basically using machine A as a proxy?

Check man ssh, mainly the -D option.
