Hi folks. I posted several times before regarding my SoundBlasterX AE-5 sound card (I could not get the sound to play through all the speakers). Finally, I just gave up and decided that if I really wanted to listen to music, I would just switch back to Windows 10 for that. However, I now suddenly have a different problem. Suddenly, my sound became distorted and "scratchy" (that's the only way I can describe it!). It just happened while I was watching a YouTube video and I can't get it corrected --- I don't even know where to start! Does anyone know what might have happened and how I can fix it? Thank you in advance

Select your sound-card using Alsamixer - on they right bottom select HP/Speak
Open your terminal type in
you might want to maximize the terminal window to see everything
