D David Jonathan Bush Guest Oct 4, 2013 #1 I just installed a Sony AD-7280S-0B 24x SATA Internal DVD+/-RW Drive in my Linux Mint Debian amd-64 machine. My kernel is 3.10, I have a dual boot with Windows 7, and the device seems to work well there. Any clue regarding what library or other package to install, or where to look for helpful info, would be appreciated. TIA

OP R ryanvade Guest Oct 4, 2013 #2 Is the drive not working in Linux? Assuming it is not, what program are you using? Are you trying to write or just read off it? There are no drivers for that drive that can be downloaded and installed. Even for Windows. It is plug-and-play.
