EFI partition:
Mount point: /boot/efi (no need to set up this mount point as the installer will do it automatically

What does the above statement indicate?
Is it saying saying don’t point the Linux bootloader(Grub2)(Device for bootloader installer) to /boot/efi ESP partition or asking not to mount /boot/efi during manual partitioning?

its saying that it will be mounted automatically, so you don't need to worry about it ; i'm off out so i rushed through it. So i didn't get time to read whether you need to manually create the EFI partition - i always do , and if its your first time it will be a learning curve. You might want to check if your system is UEFI or not. we need some more details of what you have currently

i always create all my partitions manually , then its just a case of selecting and you know which is which, cause of course you created them so no guessing :^)
