I'm trying to Install Linux Mint (I downloaded the newest version directly from linuxmint.com) in my laptop
When I try to boot Linux Mint it says:
Error: Invalid Magic Number
Error: You need to load the kernel first
I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad 110-15IBR

How did you create your bootable media.

Are you using a dvd or a usb flash drive to boot from.

Two things usually causes this - either a bad thumb drive or a bad install to the thumb drive - I would use a different USB installer - if you are using Windows to make the Bootable/Live USB then use Rufus or LinuxLive USB Creator - LinuxLive is here - https://www.linuxliveusb.com/ LinuxLive USB Creator is no longer maintained but still works - Rufus is here - https://rufus.ie/en/

Reformat the thumb drive to fat32 first then run one the above to install Mint to the thumb drive

Did you create bootable install media and use that to run the installation from?

Glad it's working for you. Enjoy the journey :)
