@Condobloke Thank you, went off to read up... and like much, to this newbie I think I understood - at least in theroy. All goodopen terminal....
There you go...simple, effective.Code:sudo apt autoremove
You just did a clean job. At root level. No drama, no fuss.
And I got the following info returned in Terminal, I read that to say, "nothing changed"
mint@mint:~$ sudo apt autoremove
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 359 not upgraded.
A few days before this I learned how to modify my Favorites list and did the Right-Click to remove one item and I also added the Text Editor. Went fine and Text Editor is where I can 'grab-it" fast.
This morning I wanted to do another change and Right-Click is not recognized on an Icon or in a blank area of the bar.

[SOLVED]
Why the Right-Click for Add/Remove a favorite doesn't work, have not found out... yet
BUT Drag to Add/Remove a Favorite works great (didn't before)
Workable, so OK for now, but sometime in the future (I know me), the "WHY" will come back to haunt me
----------------------------
I really do not think the Terminal command (above) has anything to do with no Right-Click in Favorites. The only other thing I've been doing is familiarizing myself with where and what various menu items are. I haven't made any changes intentionally as I like my bootable/persistent Stick is the way it is - getting ready to use it to install LM22.
Sooooo very Newbie. Any hints regarding any preference or setting I may have changed?
Thank you much
