Hi could someone possibly please offer some suggestions.
I was wishing to have the security of using linux while browsing the internet so I do not need to worry about setting up resource hungry on access Antivirus/antimalware software running all the time inside Windows. So was wanting to get the lightest version of linux possible just to use the internet browser inside a virtual machine in windows 10 for security on my PC.
So effectively all I want out of the linux distro is an internet browser to run inside a virtual machine on windows. No other features of the Linux OS would be needed or used other than the internet browser.
Could I therefore ask, is there a tiny linux distro that is small enough that it is effectively just a secure/fast internet browser and nothing else added to it.
Or if there is nothing that small what is the lightest/smallest linux distro you can get please that would be best suited for the use I am aiming for.
