I haven't seen a topic like this so I thought it would be fun to start one, it will be interesting to see
the different hardware everyone is running here. It may give newcomers an idea on how many
hardware setups GNU/Linux is able to run and maybe it will give you inspiration for future purchases.
I will start with my system:

- Case: Cooler Master N300(Closed)
- PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power 11 700W CM
- Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC
- CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KF
- CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
- RAM: G. Skill Ripjaw V F4-4000C18Q-32GVK
- GPU: Gigabyte Geforce RTX 2070 Windforce 2X 8G(Rev 3.0)
- SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB

In my case, my "main" system isn't my beefiest.

I also have a cooler master (with a bent "foot" on one corner, so it doesn't sit perfectly level".
Intel i7-4790K
16 GB RAM.
INTEL SSDPEKNW010T8 - 1TB NVME (in both M.2 slots, 2TB total)
Asrock Z97 Extreme6.
Nvidia 2080 RTX

I have a second system with a
SUPERMICRO MBD-H11DSI-NT dual Ryzen EPYC, (32 cores)
128 GB RAM.
Nvidia Ti960GT

But I don't use this as my main desltop system. It mostly has VMs on it.

All of my Linux computers are others discarded Windows computers some as old as 2007.

Most run dual core processors and 4.0 GB memory and integrated graphics adapters and mechanical hard drives.

The wife and kids get the new computers with the quad core processors and 8.0 GB memory with graphic cards and SSDs.

The wife and kids are Windows 10 users which is why they get the new computers.
