Hi i'm wondering if any body can help me in LINUX scheduling algorithms
 


Another question: In what algorithms window differ with UNIX/LINUX?! Does LINUX work with the following algorithms ???
A. First-Come, First-Served Scheduling:

B. Shortest-Job-First Scheduling

C. Priority Scheduling

D. Round-Robin Scheduling

E. Multilevel Queue Scheduling

F. Multilevel Feedback Queue Scheduling

ans: Windows uses Round-Robin, Shortest Job First, Shortest Remaining Time First but Unix/Linux uses CFS


Does LINUX work with the following algorithms ???
The Initial Version of linux used Round-Robin algorithm, current version of Linux uses CFS algorithm
You are replying to a 7 year old topic, probably a waste of your time.
@KGIII Can you clean it and lock it?
 
I'll lock it and tell 'em to start a new thread. That way they can at least copy their question without needing to type it all over again.

Though, before the do so, I'd suggest they read the 2nd link in my signature.
