Hello

I installed RHEL Server 9.4 (CLI) in VirtualBox 7. 0.14 and upgraded it to RHEL 9.5.
After following the steps in:

I'm unable to see any pop-up windows after selecting "Insert Guest Additions CD Image..." under Devices menu. Can someone help me with this please?

Go to your filemanager and see if you actually see a mounted iso that presents it self as a cdrom drive?

I checked /run/media and found no files / directories in it. Moreover, a user from VirtualBox Forum told that CLI OSes don't have the "Shared Clipboard" features and it is only for GUI OSes. I need Guest Additions for these reasons:
i) Copy and paste between Guest and Host OSes (both ways)
ii) Maximize the size of Guest OS to fit the screen of Host OS

That is correct guest additions only work for systems with desktop environments, you can't copy paste from a host os to a guest vm virtual console. That also explains why you didn't get a popup to run something or couldn't open a filemanager because with a system with a desktop environment install when you connect an iso it will automatitically mount itself to /run/media.

It wasn't clear in your OP that you didn't have a desktop environment installed because you shared a link to an article where there was a desktop environment installed. Next time it will be more clear to people if you just say RHEL install without GUI or minimal RHEL install. The CLI is where you enter your commands, which you can also do on a system with desktop environment installed.

Thank you for suggesting me the right technical terms (RHEL without GUI / minimum RHEL). However, is there any other solution for I can achieve what I want?

Thanks for the link. I'm surprised as well as sad that this issue was made aware 17 years ago, yet not solved.:(

I installed the latest version of VirtualBox 7.1.6 and RHEL Server 9.5 (GUI). I installed VirtualBox in a custom location (F:\) and followed the instructions in VirtualBox User Guide to change directory permissions to allow VirtualBox installation. Later, I installed VBox extensions. Then, I followed the instructions in this video
to help start the RHEL VM (Guest OS). I followed the instructions in https://developers.redhat.com/rhel8/...ox#coding_time
to enable the Guest Additions and it is running fine.
With respect to CLI OSes, I mounted the ISO file in Guest OS and ran it manually. It did install fine. However, as told by many users in other forums, it doesn't have the features like Shared Clipboard, Drag and Drop, etc. Hence, this is resolved
