RHEL 6 install question/issue

I installed RHEL 6 and now I'm faced with the following. I don't recall ever setting any form of password.

Password for /dev/sda2 (luks-ec8…): _________________

Thanks, but that doesn't explain why this might be happening. Does anyone know why it's asking for a password now?

It looks like you created a luks encrypted partition on sda..
