Hi Everybody,

I would like to ask if there is any way to remove a Windows 10 for a dual boot machine. This might be odd. The hard drives I have in my desktop PC is two SATA hard drives since the motherboard is a ASUS P5KPL-AM SE with a Intel Core2Duo E4500 2.2GHz. This is the odd one thing about it. If I understand it has a Legacy BIOS in it. And I would like to remove the dual boot since the hard drive which is a bit odd. When I check System it says that Samsung 250Gb is on SATA Channel 1 which is called SDA and the WD 500Gb is on SATA Channel 2 which is called SDB. I thought that WD was on the channel 1 which it isn't. The BIOS is a American Megatrends v: 0509 date: 05/27/2009. So is there any way to remove the Windows 10 part? There is a very odd thing I thought WD was the first HDD. But it wasn't, I might buy a SSD for it and remove both HDD which I have in it. So would it be better to wait and buy a SSD and the remove both HDD and install Linux on SSD? Or is there any way the remove Windows 10 which isn't there if I remember correct? Can one format the Samsung HDD and would that remove the dual boot? Since the WD which is on SATA Channel 2 is LInux and Samsung HDD on SATA Channel 1 is still format with Windows 10. I hope someone can help me with this.

Yours
Christer Wickman

@wizardfromoz OP already has topic going on here, it's about the same system. Can you merge this one into the other one, I don't see the point of two separate topics about the same problem.

Will do on my morrow ;)
