Remove these Chrome Extensions now!

I should add that sometimes people sell their extensions if they're popular and those companies have been known to use the extensions for malware.

I'll also add that I don't have any of those installed, thanks.

Remove these Chrome Extensions now!
Also don't forget to remove Chrome as well.

As for extensions it's known rule of a thumb to have as few as possible.

So from reading this post, am I to assume that I should stay with Firefox, and not use Chrome?

Yeah, going from FF to Chrome is going from bad to worse.
In what way are you referring to worse. Worse security or worse privacy? If the latter I agree if the first I don't agree because all browsers are developed to be secure so that you can safely browse the web or else they might as well discontinue because it defeats the main purpose of being a browser.

Worse because of privacy, because of privacy policy and TOS.
Although I haven't read them for long time, things may have changed.

I'm considering to do a comparison regarding PP's & TOS' between browsers and make a short breakdown, but currently lazy to do it.

I would be interested in hearing a comparison from an experienced Tech Wizard to give their breakdown on the pro's and con's of both of these. Preferably from someone who can pick apart the "fine print" which I think is always near the bottom.

I only use NoScript. I use lots of different browsers, some with no plugins intentionally as extensions help fingerprinting. My non-private sessions, regular browsing. I click ads that make no sense; gaming news one minute, women's fashion and handbags the next. Poor YT algo is very confused so I get makeup tutorial video suggestions right across to "Donald Trump did xyz" and LTT stuff. It's hilarious. But yeah, I use Chromium seldom, mainly to test web pages when I have time to code (still hoping to do my company website, already won the brochures bid!)
This pretty closely resembles my sentiments...

I think I need to take lessons from you.
I want to confuse YT also.
I'm on Firefox.
