I do have a nice and speedy laptop that's only used to do live tests of Lubuntu. That's immediately to-hand, without having to root around and find something I feel like reviving.

I never did get time to spin up a VM. I'm afraid I'm just going to have to make the time at the expense of something else.

Also, one of the reasons I like Maine... I got about an inch of un-forecast snow last night.
As near as I can tell, nobody else got a single flake. About halfway down the mountain, there was nothing as far as snow goes.
