Rebooting Chromecast on Linux?

Is there any possibility to reboot chromecast on Linux?

I'm interested in Chromecast myself. I've never used it before, either in Linux or Windows, but it does intrigue me. I am looking at cutting the cable. What is "Rebooting Chromecast?" Isn't it just and app or extension? I'll be following this thread to learn more.

Oh yeah, doesn't Chromecast require a device plugged into your TV and logged into your network?

Ahh - I don't think so / haven't heard of any way to do that.. you could reboot it from the google home app from a phone, however..

Actually.. after looking around a little bit you can add google assistant to your PC, then tell that to reboot it?

I tried that but it requires some things I don't have, an external mic & speaker.
