Any suggestions, the articles I keep reading show up stuff that requires 256MB ram and like 900 megahertz or 1 gigahertz processor, I just don't have that on my super old PC that I'm using free dos on.

Don't wanna just have MS-DOS6.22 or Windows 95 or Windows 98.

My computer has a 10GB hard drive
800 Megahertz processor
64MB of graphics card ram
128MB of DDR1 RAM
(Originally had Windows 98 on it(formatted and gone)) (Has a few USB ports, a 3.5 inch floppy drive and a CD drive)

Apart from using some net.iso and build your OS up from there, I think this might be what you're looking for https://reactos.org/

Perhaps a long shot - but here is one which should work - KolibriOS.
It is the teeniest tiniest OS I have ever installed. But I did get it installed and it worked!
It was 12MB when I tried it but I see it has 'bloated' to 27MB now.
I think it may be of Russian origin.
Quite amazing actually.. Written in Assembler.
Takes up only a "few" megabytes of disk space and 8MB of RAM!

i once had some really old Panasonic ex-military tough book laptops. They also had only 128MB which wasn't enough from memory but if there is any way you could double that , then antix should work.
Now there is also a problem with ram; you can't just use modern rma but have to get compatible ram for old machines; i got mine from https://www.offtek.co.uk/

You're going to have to upgrade someday, nowadays pretty much anything is better than that. But, if you cannot upgrade from those specs, or have your reasons, try https://kolibrios.org/en/ or http://www.tinycorelinux.net/
