Gave up on windowz when XP died and never looked back - the only thing I cannot do on Linux that I did on windowz is update my Garmin Nuvi - garmin does not support linux- but now I use OpenMapChest maps in it instead of Garmin maps, which work just as well and are free and updated regularly

Win 7 will become another Win XP (the OS that refused to die), and ever more desperate to disseminate their corporate malware.
Hope it does to get right up their snooty noses. I now understand why I see so many comp's running XP here.

Have you read the MicroSoft EULA? They basically OWN your computer if you install their operating system onto it. No Thanks, I'd rather be Free and run a Linux based OS or even one of the BSD based Op Systems. MicroSoft is dead to me and has been since 2001 when I dumped Windows 98 for an iMac. Moved from the iMac to Linux in 2012 and I've not looked back. For me it's Linux or NOTHING.
