Question about partitioning

Before my PC became a skinny metal brick, I had virtualbox with manjaro and templeOS installed. I had partitioned (I think I’m using the right term) 20gb of storage and 2gb for manjaro, and 1gb each for templeOS. I did a system restore to before that point, but that’s what ended up bricking my PC. So when I install kubuntu or manjaro, will everything go smoothly? I’ve never done this before so I don’t know how it works. Thanks in advance

Try it and see? If you have any data on your previous distros you might want to copy it off on a USB first
