QCA6174 refuses to connect to 5Ghz WiFi. Firmware and multiple errors in dmesg

Have observed this on PopOS since the last 2 months or so while on PopOS 20.10, ever since some kernel update. Now I'm on 21.04 .

Wifi card connects to 2 Ghz fine with these logs .

Have tried options like disabling Powersave & setting "options ath10k_core cryptmode=1", but to no luck . It works perfectly on Windows 10 .At times when I reboot the router it does connect but fails after I put it to sleep overnight. Seems like an authentication/encryption related firmware bug but I can't be sure
