I've been enjoying the PGA tour stuff. I don't even play (much) golf in the real world. It's a fun video game, however. I started with my own character and am grinding my way to more and more skill points. There's a ton of stuff that can be unlocked along the way. Plus, I can play it at my pace (easily). It doesn't get mad if I just set the controller down to do something else. It doesn't care if I want to take a drink of delicious wine. It happily waits for me.
It also highly penalizes mistakes.
Then, there's a luck factor. Sometimes, the computer just does all sorts of nastiness that you certainly didn't ask for. You'll have made a 'perfect' shot and it'll happily lob it off and shank it out of bounds. It loves to do that on courses with water hazards.
Over time, you can increase your 'luck' by adding points as you get them. But, points become even harder to get as you play the game. Golf is fricken' awesome and I used to play a lot of it (as a game, though I do golf in real life but not that much).
Alas, this one doesn't give you Mulligens. The computer can just decide to screw you and you have no recourse. Ah well... You just learn to accept it and eventually you can start assigning points to the luck slot.
