Has anyone used this distro? What's it like? Is it lightweight? :D I'm trying to find as much info on it as possible :D would it be suitable for a netbook?

I heard about it on here. I'm pretty sure it's a distro, although it might not be? Can someone clarify this? :D I also heard about Peppermint which I'm looking into as I need a lightweight fast, yet stable distro for my netbook. :D

Yeah that does seem promising. Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime this week if I get time to give it a try. I'd like to see videos or pictures of it first before I install it though.....I like to see the UI of an OS before just diving into it blindfolded. :D
  6. Porteus is a portable Linux operating system (250 Mb) can be installed on a portable USB device or hard drive. In essence, Porteus is a portable slackware, the evolution of Slax, but unlike a normal linux Porteus remains in a compressed state on the disk portable.

Well, here's another OS i'm clueless about... there's so many distro's i guess i yet have to know more about. After researching for a bit, i found out that Porteus is derived from "Portability" which obviparently could be seen on their website, where the USB icon is displayed.

So this should be the next lightweight distro after puppylinux?
