pop-os doesn't detect my wifi adapter after i updated to latest version.

listen i want u to suggest me a good linux distro that will be good for both heavy gaming and programing

something that is like pop-os in the command line cause its been a week scence i downloaded linux and i really loved it and tbh windows suck at a lot of stuff and i dont want to go back to it :/

What do you mean that? PopOS is generally recommended for gaming for people who are new to Linux, any distribution will do for programming. If you want another distribution for gaming I would recommend a rolling release distribution something Arch based, have a look at either EndeavourOS or Manjaro.

But why not stick to PopOS?

cause the wifi thing and i need to use the laptop and an ethernet connection will be so annoying cause i am kinda far from the router

and what about ubuntu do u recommend it for like gaming and programing

I see, create a bootable usb thumdrive with both Manjaro and EndeavourOS. Then boot from it and see if your wifi works, as well as to see if you like the distribution and also try Mint which is more like Ubuntu/PopOS.

Like I said before both will be fine for gaming and programming, I think Ubuntu or Mint will be better for you since like PopOS they are beginner distributions. Be sure to create a thumb drive with all the ones you want to try so that you can live boot into them and see if the wifi works and then see what you think of them before installing.

k thx so much for everything like is there any way i can support u :)
Too bad we didn't fix it but I don't think it's something we could fix since it broke after a package upgrade. No I'm just a community member who try to help others out and to help others learn.

k thx for everything :D do u discord or something?
I have discord but I am not your private support line that's why I'm here on the forum. ;)

Strange it looks like the driver is loaded but your system is not recognizing the device anyways. Can you also share the output of the following.
Code:
lsmod | egrep "bcma|wl"
i got this output... but still the wifi shows. "No Wifi Adapter found"
Code:
a-sajjad72@pop-os:~$ lsmod | egrep "bcma|wl"
wl 6488064 0
cfg80211 1323008 1 wl

Just had another thought, if it's a laptop, check and make sure the update hasn't enabled flight mode

ThankYou that was the issue which you just mentioned. after 9 hours internet surfing, following internet tutorials and articles, i came to know that the flight mode is on.
strange thing is that pop! os doesn't mentioned this thing on GUI like showing an icon for flight mode. and also the button is little lower side of the laptop due to which I can't see it.
