pop os crashed during updates

first image: tried updating my pop os yesterday and it crashed.

second image: I had to restart the computer, tried to restart the updates and it crashed again.

Linux noob, not sure what to do here, have written to pop os support but I have no idea how long they will take.

What was the outcome after the second screenshot, following your running of

sudo dpkg --configure -a

?

the error shows an interruption during either downloading or installing a previous update or application, have you run sudo dpkg --configure -a ?

You seem to have been having a lot of problems with POP on your machine, have you considered it may not be a suitable fit? as i am sure i have said before, Pop is made specifically for system 76 kit , if it works out of the box on anything else thats good, but if not it can be a pigs rear to get it running correctly
